Visit the Temple of Literature
ASIACCS 2025 organizers will arrange a special tour to the Temple of Literature – a special national relic of Vietnam. It is open only for ASIACCS’25 (conference/workshop) registered attendees. The tour will take place on 25 August 2024. The total number of visitors is capped at 135 persons. A two-way transportation (i.e., from the conference venue to the Temple of Literature and back) will be provided for the participants.
The Temple of Literature was established in 1070 and later became home to Vietnam’s first national university. It is one of Hanoi’s most revered cultural and historical landmarks. Originally dedicated to Confucius and later used to educate generations of scholars, the site reflects the deep-rooted respect for learning and intellectual pursuit in Vietnamese culture. A visit to the temple offers a serene and majestic atmosphere while providing a meaningful glimpse into Vietnam’s early educational system and the enduring influence of Confucian philosophy on its development.
